On March 11 2019, SOWED Kenya was privileged to host the Practice to Strengthen Innovation and Practice in Secondary Education (PSIPSE) team in a chain of events.
The purpose of the visit by the PSIPSE team was to support the work SOWED Kenya is doing with the CorStone grant and update donor on progress. The team visited Ongata Ronkai Primary School where SOWED Kenya had rehabilitated toilets through Toilets For School (T4S) project. The team also visited Olooltepes Primary School to get a glimpse of how YFK session is conducted before proceeding to Olmotiany Primary School where they had a chance to interact with parents and pupils who shared the success of the project which had been implemented in the school for last year.
The event was a success as the PSIPSE team managed to document the feedback they required during this visit. The PSIPSE team seemed rather happy with the turn of events as well which was an indication of a job well done by the SOWED team.
See the attached report for full details of the visit.
